- Wynn a Racist? Seems obsessed with “whiteness” - Wynn, two time loser in election to North Caroline Supreme Court, calls that elected body "a segregated Supreme Court," and says: "Indeed, the American judiciary is disproportionately white and male. These white men disproportionately make judgments affecting African-Americans, women, and other minorities. ... [T]the absence of diversity creates (in fact) a judicial partiality to the values and stories of the groups overrepresented - white men - in its midst. Although the vast majority of white male judges are not repositories of racial animus, one commentator notes that they are, nevertheless, 'steeped in and bound by narratives which appear not to be narratives at all because they are cloaked in the transparency of whiteness.'"
- Committee for Justice: Obama Bias v. White Judges? - CFJ stated: "Yesterday, President Obama nominated Albert Diaz and James A. Wynn of North Carolina to the Fourth Circuit of the second highest court in the land, the United States Court of Appeals." and asked the question "Does President Obama or his advisors believe that southern white men are likely to be bigoted, making them unfit to serve on the second most powerful court in the land? We hope not and readily concede that it is difficult to know if any such stereotype lurks in the White House. The absence of southern white male circuit nominees could, instead, be an innocent coincidence or the not-so-innocent byproduct of a judicial selection process dominated by racial and gender preferences."
- ALG Alert: Wynn Vice Chair of Soros Funded Left Wing Judicial Group - American for Limited Government: "Wynn is another Obama nominee who appears to be more concerned about the color of one’s skin than their ability to perform on the job.” -Don Todd, Director of Research, Americans for Limited Government.
